Part-Time Network and Systems Administrator

We are in need of a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis in Os, Norway. As a part-time Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and configuring our network infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in network administration and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should also be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment
- Ensure security protocols are up to date and implement necessary updates
- Maintain backup systems to ensure data integrity
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects or initiatives
- Document all network configurations for future reference

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in network administration or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN networks, and network security best practices
- Working knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.
