Power Engineer - Nairobi, Kenya

Our engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power Engineer to join our team in Nairobi. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining power systems and equipment, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. This position requires expertise in electrical engineering principles and experience with power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in power engineering
- Knowledge of power system design, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred:
- Experience with renewable energy systems
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Egyptian or Nepali languages is a plus)
- Ability to work part-time or on an urgent basis
