Preservation Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Ashdod. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings, structures, and sites while ensuring they meet modern safety standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop and execute preservation plans that maintain the integrity of historic structures while also making necessary updates for current use.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess the condition of historic structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and standards
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation projects are completed successfully
- Conduct research on building materials and techniques used during the time period of the structure
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for preservation work
- Oversee construction work to ensure it meets preservation standards
- Monitor project budgets and timelines

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of historic building materials, techniques, and styles
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary: $1000/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Ashdod (open to foreigners)

Employment type: Full-time (open to students)
