Executive Pastry Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Atlanta. As the head of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing all pastry and dessert offerings for our restaurant. Your creativity and passion for pastry will be key in developing new and innovative dishes that will delight our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee all aspects of the pastry menu, including new dishes and seasonal offerings
- Train and manage a team of pastry chefs, ensuring high quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budget for the pastry department
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety regulations
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menu offerings that complement each other
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques to constantly improve the pastry program
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, flavors, and presentation styles
- Ability to lead and motivate a team with attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects while maintaining high standards
- Creativity and passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or related field is preferred
Salary: $900 per week (negotiable based on experience)
