Job Title: Contract Turner in Oslo

Our company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used for shaping and machining metal parts. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to gain experience in a dynamic and international environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various machines such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to shape and finish metal parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the machines or finished parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in machining preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficiency with operating various machine tools and reading technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
