Interpreter - English/Spanish


We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Interpreter to join our team in Bergen. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between English and Spanish languages. Your role will involve working with clients from various backgrounds and industries, including legal, healthcare, and business. Your exceptional language skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to maintain confidentiality will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting face-to-face or remote interpretation sessions between English and Spanish speakers
- Accurately interpreting spoken language in real-time
- Providing cultural understanding to ensure effective communication between parties
- Preparing materials for interpretation sessions as needed
- Maintaining confidentiality of all information obtained during interpretation sessions
- Adhering to ethical standards and codes of conduct for professional interpreters

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish languages (native speaker level preferred)
- Proven experience as an interpreter in a professional setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of various industries and terminology related to legal, healthcare, and business fields
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1400$
Location: Bergen (no accommodation provided)
