Information Security Analyst - Remish, Kenya


We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Remish, Kenya. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our company's information systems and data. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and conduct regular security audits.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and develop plans to mitigate potential threats
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures
- Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations
- Regularly perform vulnerability testing and penetration testing
- Stay up-to-date on the latest information security trends, threats, and technologies
- Train employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and technologies
- Experience with network security protocols such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Bonus Skills:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with cloud computing environments
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g. GDPR)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time job with 40 working hours per week.
