Machine Learning Engineer



As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithms and models for our company's machine learning systems. Your role will involve designing, prototyping, and testing machine learning models, as well as integrating them into production systems. You will also be responsible for optimizing model performance and ensuring their scalability. This position requires strong programming skills in languages like Python or Java, as well as knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Previous experience in data science, data analysis, or software engineering is preferred. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment. Accommodation and visa sponsorship may be provided for the right candidate.

Location: Bergen, Norway.

Salary: $1700/month (part-time).

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models.
- Design, prototype, and test machine learning systems.
- Integrate models into production systems.
- Optimize model performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities for applying machine learning.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning techniques and frameworks.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python or Java.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Previous experience in data science, data analysis, or software engineering is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.

Preferred:

- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
