Machine Operator Supervisor

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Machine Operator Supervisor to oversee our production team in Svalbard. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machines and meeting production targets. As a supervisor, you will also be responsible for managing and training machine operators, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate our equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of machine operators to ensure timely production
- Monitor machine operations to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines, such as adjusting settings or replacing parts
- Train new machine operators on proper operation techniques and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine maintenance
- Order necessary supplies and materials for machines to ensure uninterrupted operation
- Collaborate with other departments to improve production processes and efficiency

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting
- Proven experience in supervising or managing a team
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machines
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively train and lead a team
- Must be able to work independently without accommodation in Svalbard
- Valid visa sponsorship available for non-native candidates
