As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department, including menu creation, ingredient sourcing, production, and presentation. You will also manage a team of pastry chefs and bakers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of desserts, pastries, and breads for our hotel's restaurants and events.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant. You must possess a strong knowledge of different pastry techniques and have the ability to create visually stunning and delicious desserts. A culinary degree or equivalent training is required.
In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone with strong leadership abilities who can effectively communicate with their team and collaborate with other departments. As the head of the pastry department, you will also be responsible for managing inventory, budgets, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
