Electrician
We are a reputable electrical company seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Nairobi. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles and codes, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems such as wiring, lighting, motors, and control systems
- Inspect existing systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems
- Perform regular maintenance on electrical equipment
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain work being done and provide recommendations for improvements

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrician in residential or commercial settings
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy equipment
