Office Manager - Alta, Norway
We are currently seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager to join our team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office and providing administrative support to our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls and emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Provide administrative support to team members, such as preparing documents and presentations
- Coordinate with external vendors for office maintenance and services
- Assist with invoicing and bookkeeping tasks
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Plan and coordinate company events or meetings
- Conduct research and gather data for projects or reports
- Prepare meeting agendas and take meeting minutes
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Experience with bookkeeping or invoicing is preferred
- Knowledge of basic HR functions is a plus
Salary: 1000$ per month
This is a contract position without accommodation provided. The working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in Norway.
