International Debt Collection Specialist - Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking an International Debt Collection Specialist to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a specialist in debt collection, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from international clients. Your main goal will be to ensure timely payments and maintain positive relationships with clients, while also minimizing losses for the company.

Responsibilities:
- Contacting international clients via phone, email or letters to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiating payment plans and settlements with debtors
- Maintaining accurate records of all communications and payments received
- Collaborating with other teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the collection process
- Providing regular reports on the status of collections to management

Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Proven experience in debt collection or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets within tight deadlines
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations is an asset

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1000$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Mombasa, Kenya. However, we welcome applicants from Canada and Nepal who are interested in working remotely.
