Android Developer



As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of innovative mobile applications for our company based in Bergen, Norway. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring the best possible performance and quality of the application. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for mobile development and a strong understanding of Android development principles.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Android development.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience developing native mobile applications for iOS is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications is a plus.

Salary:
1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
