Seasonal Executive Chef in Oslo, Norway
We are hiring a skilled Executive Chef to join our team for the seasonal period in Oslo, Norway. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a diverse menu of high-quality dishes, managing inventory and kitchen operations, and leading and training a team of chefs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning
- Excellent communication skills
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that showcase local ingredients and reflect seasonal changes
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining budgetary guidelines
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets company standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with other departments to plan events and special menus
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
