Job Title: Senior Accountant



Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a new challenge in the beautiful city of Muscat? We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team of professionals. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial activities of our company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Experience working in a multinational company or in the Middle East region

This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1100$. As this is a contract job, accommodation will not be provided.
