Junior Accountant


We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Muscat, Oman. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of financial transactions
- Reconciling discrepancies in financial records and resolving any issues
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Communicating with colleagues and clients regarding any financial inquiries or concerns
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience working with accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations in Oman
