DevOps Developer

As a DevOps Developer, you will play a crucial role in the software development process by bridging the gap between development and operations. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for delivering high-quality software products. You will work closely with the development team to ensure automated deployments, continuous integration and delivery, and efficient monitoring of applications. Your experience in coding, scripting, automation, and configuration management will be key in ensuring a smooth and efficient software delivery process. This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month in Herzliya, Israel. Accommodation is not provided.

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Developer with a strong background in software development and operations. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You must have at least 3 years of experience working as a DevOps Developer or a similar role. Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python or Ruby is required. Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet is also essential.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure for software delivery
- Building and managing automated deployment pipelines
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features
- Monitoring application performance in production environments
- Troubleshooting issues related to code deployments or infrastructure failures
- Continuously improving processes through automation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker)
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and networking
