IT Support Specialist
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to computer users in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your main objective will be to ensure the smooth operation of all computer systems, including hardware, software, networks, and peripheral devices. You will be based in the United States and will need to have your own visa and accommodation arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to computer users via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral device issues
- Install and configure computer systems and applications
- Maintain documentation of all support activities
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
- Conduct regular system maintenance and updates
- Keep abreast of new technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed
- Ensure data security by implementing proper backup procedures
- Train new employees on company's computer systems and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: $1100 per month (without accommodation)
Location: United States (own visa required)
