Baker Assistant


We are seeking an experienced Baker Assistant to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Baker Assistant, you will work closely with our Head Baker to ensure the smooth operation of our bakery and production of high-quality baked goods.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Baker in preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed
- Decorate and present finished products
- Clean work area and equipment after each shift
- Follow all food safety procedures
- Assist in inventory control and ordering supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Baker Assistant or similar role in a bakery setting
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Physically fit to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy trays, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid visa sponsorship for non-Omani nationals
