Executive Pastry Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As the head of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating and executing our pastry menu, managing inventory and ordering, and training and supervising our pastry team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new pastry items to add to our menu
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all pastry items
- Manage inventory and order necessary supplies
- Train and supervise pastry team members
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to create seasonal menus
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
