We are in search of a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods to delight our customers. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our culinary offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute dessert menus in collaboration with the Head Chef
- Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and are visually appealing
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Train junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff on proper techniques and recipes
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new dessert concepts for special events or seasonal menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Creativity in designing desserts that are visually appealing
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends
- Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred
