Florist Assistant

We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist Assistant to join our floral design team in Mombasa. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in learning about the art of floral design and has a love for flowers. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior florists with creating arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, events, and everyday orders
- Cleaning, conditioning, and arranging flowers according to specific design instructions
- Maintaining inventory of floral supplies and ordering new materials when needed
- Providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their floral needs
- Ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time
- Keeping the work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Passion for flowers and the art of floral design
- Detail-oriented with a good eye for colors and design
- Ability to follow instructions closely and work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly personality
- Some experience working with flowers is preferred but not required
- Must be able to legally work in Mombasa

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.
