Merchandiser (Indian Nationals)


We are a well-established retail company based in Bayan and we are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning, selecting and executing product ranges to maximize sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop merchandise strategies in line with company objectives
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify product opportunities
- Select products from suppliers and negotiate prices and terms of contract
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and finance to develop effective promotions and campaigns
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for action
- Visit stores regularly to monitor product placement, pricing, and competitor activity
- Train store staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry is required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
