Chemical Process Engineer


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemical Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Chemical Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing processes for the production of chemicals and related products. Your role will involve optimizing existing processes, troubleshooting issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing chemical processes for the production of various products
- Conducting research and experiments to evaluate the feasibility of new processes
- Monitoring and optimizing existing processes to improve efficiency and quality
- Troubleshooting issues that arise during production and implementing solutions
- Developing safety protocols for handling chemicals and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Collaborating with other engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure smooth operations
- Conducting regular audits to identify areas for improvement in process design and implementation
- Communicating with suppliers to source necessary raw materials for production
- Maintaining accurate records of process data, equipment maintenance, and product quality control

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical process engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass transfer
- Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
