Junior Merchandiser


We are seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join our growing team in Acre. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising department in all aspects of product selection, purchase, and inventory management. Your main goal will be to ensure that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time, while also maximizing profitability for the company.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with product selection by analyzing sales data and market trends
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate competitive pricing and terms
- Place purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and proactively address any supply shortages or overstock situations
- Monitor product performance and make recommendations for markdowns or promotions as needed
- Communicate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure seamless execution of merchandising strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to identify potential opportunities or threats

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Previous experience in retail or merchandising is a plus but not required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
