Job Title: Senior Commercial Architect


As a Senior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of commercial buildings in Svalbard. Your expertise in architectural design, construction methods, and building codes will be essential in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our clients. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design process for commercial buildings from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their vision.
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Select materials and finishes that are cost-effective and meet quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
- Oversee construction progress to ensure that designs are implemented accurately.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress.
- Mentor and guide junior architects in their professional development.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial architecture.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
