QA Engineer - Oslo, Norway

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of software products through testing and troubleshooting. Your main goal will be to identify defects and bugs in the software and work with the development team to resolve them. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month, which includes accommodation. Biometric passport is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated testing on software products
- Develop test plans, test cases, and execute tests according to project requirements
- Identify, report, and track defects to resolution using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools (Selenium, JMeter)
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python) is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
