A reputable contracting company in Bergen is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties including repairing and installing fixtures, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing general handyman tasks as needed.

Salary: 1400$ per month

Location: Bergen, Norway

Contract Type: Full-time with accommodation provided

Responsibilities:

- Perform basic carpentry work such as building shelves, installing cabinets, and repairing furniture
- Conduct plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing pipes, and installing new fixtures
- Handle electrical work including changing light fixtures, replacing outlets, and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Complete general maintenance tasks such as painting walls, repairing drywall, and fixing doors and windows
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner and ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding job progress

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
