Finisher - Furniture Finishing Specialist

As a Finisher in our furniture manufacturing company, you will be responsible for ensuring the final product meets the highest quality standards. Your main duties will include preparing surfaces for finishing, selecting and applying appropriate finishes, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a contract position with opportunities for growth within the company. No prior experience is required, but preference will be given to Indian nationals with valid visa sponsorship. This is an urgent position in the city of Remish, so immediate availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and repairing any imperfections
- Select appropriate finishes based on product specifications and apply them using various techniques such as spraying or brushing
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the finishing process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in furniture finishing is preferred
- Proven experience as a finisher or similar role in a furniture manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of wood finishes and application techniques
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications and finish requirements
- Excellent attention to detail with high standards for quality control
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
