Executive Chef
We are currently hiring an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in Ashdod. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations. You must have extensive knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques, as well as the ability to create innovative and high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including selecting ingredients, creating menus, and ensuring dishes are prepared to a high standard
- Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain budgetary guidelines for food costs and labor expenses
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items to minimize waste
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques
- Maintain a positive working relationship with front-of-house staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Formal culinary training or degree is preferred
- Proven ability to lead a kitchen team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for creating high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Ashdod (preference for Malayalees or English-speaking candidates)
