Body Repair Technician



We are searching for a skilled and experienced Body Repair Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed
- Use various hand and power tools to remove dents, scratches, and other damages from vehicle bodies
- Replace damaged parts, such as bumpers, fenders, doors, and hoods
- Straighten bent frames or unibody structures using hydraulic equipment
- Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed
- Sand and buff repaired areas to ensure smooth finish
- Apply paint and other coatings to match vehicle's original color
- Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure proper functioning of all systems
- Keep track of all repairs done and report any issues or concerns to management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive body repair is preferred
- Proven experience as a Body Repair Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different body repair techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
