Locksmith Technician



Our company is seeking a skilled Locksmith Technician to join our team in Svalbard. As a Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair locks, safes, and other security devices
- Cut new or duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Repair or replace damaged locks and parts
- Use hand and power tools to disassemble, install, or reassemble locks and related hardware
- Test and adjust new or repaired locks to ensure proper functioning
- Create master key systems for commercial buildings or residential complexes
- Respond to emergency lockout situations in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about security systems

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Prior experience as a locksmith is preferred but not required
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to use various tools and equipment effectively
- Familiarity with different types of locks and security systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1100 per month. This is a contract job with the potential for growth within the company.
