Mason - Experienced and Skilled


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mason to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various materials such as brick, concrete, and stone. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in masonry work and possess a strong knowledge of construction techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks or other materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys, and other structures according to blueprints or specifications
- Cut or trim bricks, concrete blocks, or stone to fit specific dimensions
- Mix mortar or grout using specified proportions and spread it onto surfaces using hand or power tools
- Align structures using levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges
- Repair cracks or other damage in existing masonry structures
- Clean excess mortar from finished work and perform final cleanup of job site
- Communicate with contractors and clients to ensure project requirements are met

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in masonry preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in masonry work
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary starting at $1700 per month based on experience.
