A reputable manufacturing company in Split, Croatia is seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision parts for our products. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan the sequence of operations
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, or other metalworking machines
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Adjust machine controls and tool settings to maintain quality standards
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or defects
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Work with a variety of materials including metal, plastic, and composite materials

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and their use in quality control
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically fit to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical training in machining or related field
- Experience working with CNC machines is a plus
- Good understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
