Gardener/ Groundskeeper

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener/ Groundskeeper to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Gardener/ Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and health of our gardens and grounds. This is a full-time position that includes accommodation and is suitable for Malayalees or foreigners with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities:
- Planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning plants
- Maintaining lawn areas by mowing, edging, and weeding
- Monitoring plant health and identifying any issues
- Applying pesticides or other treatments as needed
- Maintaining equipment and tools used for gardening
- Keeping the garden area clean and free of debris
- Assisting with landscaping projects as needed
- Providing guidance and support to other gardening staff members

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a gardener or groundskeeper
- Proficiency in English language (Malayalees preferred)
- Ability to work full-time with flexible hours as needed
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks
- Knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and other vegetation commonly found in the area
- Familiarity with gardening tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Good communication skills to collaborate with other team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
