Preservation Architect



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in the US. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and conserving historical buildings, structures, and monuments. Your main goal will be to ensure the protection, rehabilitation, and restoration of these important cultural assets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine their condition and preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for the protection and conservation of historical sites
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure proper implementation of preservation plans
- Conduct research on construction materials, techniques, and historical significance of buildings to inform preservation efforts
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Oversee construction work to ensure adherence to historic preservation guidelines and standards
- Monitor the progress of preservation projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Manage budgets and project timelines for preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect working on historical building projects
- Extensive knowledge of historic preservation principles, methods, materials, and techniques
- Proficient in CAD software and other architectural design tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in the US. Candidates must have their own visa or eligibility to work in the US.
