Head Baker
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Head Baker to join our team at a well-established bakery in Clairvaux. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery's operations, including production, inventory management, and staff training.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the bakery, including production, inventory control, and quality assurance
- Develop and implement baking recipes and techniques to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Train and supervise staff on proper baking techniques and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work closely with management to develop new products and improve existing ones
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special orders in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional baker or pastry chef
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, including bread making, pastry making, decorating, etc.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating high-quality baked goods
- Ability to work independently as well as lead a team effectively
- Good communication skills in order to train staff and interact with customers
Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Clairvaux (open to all nationalities)
