PHP Developer


We are hiring a skilled PHP Developer to join our growing team in Svalbard. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring their functionality and usability. Your main focus will be on back-end development, but knowledge of front-end development is also desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and related frameworks
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement new features
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Conduct regular testing to ensure functionality and identify any bugs or issues
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends to constantly improve skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency in PHP with 1+ years of experience
- Experience with one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
- Knowledge of front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Experience working with databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
