PHP Developer



The PHP Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of dynamic web applications using PHP, MySQL, and other related technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web development principles and experience with front-end frameworks such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom web applications using PHP and MySQL
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features
- Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure optimal performance
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in web development and propose new ideas for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in PHP development
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end frameworks
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Svalbard (accommodation not provided)
Employment Type: Contract (with possibility of extension)
