Junior Back-End Developer in Los Angeles, USA


We are hiring a Junior Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Los Angeles, USA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about coding and eager to learn and grow in the field of back-end development.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to create user-friendly web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate programming languages
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues that arise during development
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across all projects
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the back-end development industry

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of at least one back-end programming language (e.g. Java, Python, PHP)
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a back-end developer or internships in related roles
- Knowledge of web frameworks (e.g. Django, Laravel) and version control tools (Git)
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this entry-level position.

Location:
This position is based in Los Angeles but due to the current pandemic situation, remote work options are available. However, candidates must be willing to relocate if needed.
