We are a reputable construction company based in Akron, seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to assist with construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Conduct daily maintenance checks on equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Experience with routine maintenance and repairs
- Strong communication skills
- Must be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions

Our ideal candidate would also possess:
- A valid CDL license
- Experience working on construction sites
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English)
