Gardener in Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for our garden and outdoor space. This includes planting, watering, pruning, weeding, and general upkeep of the garden. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in gardening and a strong knowledge of different plants and their care. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Planting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants
- Watering plants regularly and ensuring they receive proper nutrients
- Pruning trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and health
- Weeding flower beds and gardens to maintain a clean appearance
- Maintaining lawn by mowing, edging, and fertilizing as needed
- Applying pesticides or other treatments to control pests or diseases
- Cleaning garden tools and equipment after use
- Assisting with the design and layout of new garden areas

Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping
- Knowledge of different plants, their care requirements, and common pests/diseases
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent time-management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good physical stamina

Preference will be given to Indian candidates who are fluent in English. Accommodation can be provided if needed. We also encourage women to apply for this position.
