Contract PHP Developer
Location: Oslo, Norway


We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex web applications and websites. Your primary focus will be on the server-side programming and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month, and we also provide free visa and ticket for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex web applications using PHP
- Write efficient, testable, and reusable code
- Integrate data storage solutions such as databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
- Collaborate with front-end developers to implement their designs into the application
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in web development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
- Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or jQuery
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on large-scale projects with millions of users
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, etc.
