Contract Finisher in Oslo, Norway


A reputable construction company in Oslo, Norway is seeking a skilled and experienced Finisher to join our team on a contract basis. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for the final touches and details on various construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling holes, and applying primer
- Install and repair drywall and plaster
- Apply paint, varnish or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers or sprayers
- Create decorative finishes such as faux painting or stenciling
- Repair and replace damaged trim, moldings and other fixtures
- Ensure all finishing work meets safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with contractors, designers and clients to achieve desired results

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finisher or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficient knowledge of various finishing techniques and materials including paint, stain, varnish, plaster, etc.
- Ability to interpret design plans and blueprints
- Skilled in using hand tools and power equipment such as sanders and sprayers
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for extended periods of time or working at heights

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this contract position. Accommodation will be provided by the company. We will also cover your visa fees and provide a round-trip ticket.
