Junior Information Security Analyst


As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's information security policies and procedures. Your main role will be to monitor and analyze security events and alerts, investigate potential security incidents, and provide recommendations for remediation. You will also assist in conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify any potential weaknesses in the company's systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and alerts from various sources and investigate any potential security incidents.
- Analyze system logs and network traffic to identify potential vulnerabilities or malicious activity.
- Assist in developing and implementing information security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify any weaknesses in the company's systems.
- Perform penetration testing to ensure the effectiveness of existing security measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in information security to continuously improve the company's defenses.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, best practices, and technologies.
- Familiarity with common network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
- Experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools such as Metasploit or Burp Suite is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary:
1400$ per month

Herzliya, Israel (Preference for Indian or Pakistani candidates)
