Land surveyor vacancy in Khasab Oman

Land Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team in Khasab. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine land boundaries and create maps and other visual representations of the land. You will also be responsible for collecting data and analyzing it to inform construction projects and property sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Create maps and diagrams using survey data
- Analyze survey data to determine property boundaries, elevation changes, and other relevant information
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to inform construction projects
- Communicate survey findings to clients or stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner
- Ensure accuracy of all survey data collected
- Follow safety protocols while conducting surveys on active construction sites or other potentially hazardous areas

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a land surveyor is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software programs
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to land surveying
- Ability to read blueprints, maps, and legal documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong math skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Khasab

Nationality: Indian (preferred)

This is a full-time position, but we also welcome applications from students who are available for part-time work during their studies. No prior experience is required for this role; however, we do require candidates who have a strong interest in land surveying and are willing to learn on the job. Fluency in English is not required for this position.
