Junior Accountant



We are a fast-growing accounting firm based in Ashdod, seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Record financial transactions in the general ledger and maintain accurate supporting documentation
- Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepaid expenses, and other adjusting entries as needed
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts for management review
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve any accounting issues
- Assist with audit preparations and provide support for external auditors
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- 1+ years of experience in an accounting role (internship experience will also be considered)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
