Job Title: Part-Time Interpreter


We are looking for a skilled interpreter to join our team on a part-time basis in Alta, Norway. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing language interpretation services for clients in various settings such as conferences, meetings, and appointments. This role requires excellent communication skills and fluency in at least two languages.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and efficient interpretation services
- Facilitate effective communication between parties by accurately conveying the meaning of spoken words
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Adapt to different settings and subjects to provide quality interpretation services
- Research and prepare terminology specific to each assignment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role
- Fluency in at least two languages (preferably English and Norwegian)
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Excellent memory retention and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
- Availability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends if needed

We offer competitive compensation of 1600$ per month, with the potential for growth within the company. Accommodation can also be provided for non-local candidates.
