Junior Civil Engineer

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will support the design and construction of various civil engineering projects in the city of Alta. You will be responsible for assisting with site surveys, preparing drawings and plans, conducting field inspections, and providing technical support to senior engineers. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or a student pursuing a degree in civil engineering to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with site surveys and data collection
- Prepare drawings and plans using CAD software
- Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Provide technical support to senior engineers
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design decisions
- Keep accurate records of project progress and documentation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or currently enrolled as a student)
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and other relevant tools
- Familiarity with surveying techniques and data collection methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges

Salary: $900/month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract Type: Part-time or full-time, depending on availability

Location: Alta, Norway (local candidates preferred)
